The state of Metro’s water supply remains critical and as such, we appeal to all businesses in Nelson Mandela Bay to encourage their staff members via WhatsApp groups, social media and other communication platforms, to preserve water as a matter of urgency.
Strong messaging around the city’s water crisis demands more concerted efforts from all relevant stakeholders to help the city starve off Day Zero. We believe that communication through WhatsApp groups in particular would instantly galvanise the message around the importance of complementing the city’s efforts in reducing daily water consumption levels down to 230 MLD. If we can do this, we can keep the taps on.
Let us all do what is right for Nelson Mandela Bay through strong collaboration!
