The Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber is pleased to announce the appointment of Quintus Draghoender as its new finance and corporate services manager.
Draghoender will be responsible for the Chamber’s financial management function which includes developing and maintaining strong internal controls, systems and policies to support the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives.
He will report to Ashwin Daya, the Chamber’s chief operations officer, who welcomed his appointment saying: “Quintus is an important addition to the management team and will enable us to strengthen our operations and ensure that our targeted interventions achieve the required impacts. Given the current economic challenges facing businesses in Nelson Mandela Bay, the complexity of the Chamber’s operations has increased calling for a more agile and flexible approach to running its operations in the best interest of its members.’’
Draghoender brings a track record of experience to the role, having worked previously as a financial manager in the market research industry. He holds a BCom degree in financial accounting.
