The United Kingdom is seeking businesses from Africa to test a prototype digital service which will form part of the UK's planned Growth Programme.
Announced at the UK-Africa Investment Summit in January 2020, the Growth Gateway programme will help African businesses grow through trade by providing a single point of access to support and advice offered by the UK Government.
The Growth Gateway development team are looking for businesses that are already exporting or are considering exporting goods to the UK and other countries. This is not sector specific and they are looking for firms of all shapes and sizes. The inntent is to make sure the service meets your needs.
Would you be able to provide 1.5 hours to test a digital service which will help businesses from Africa to export?
Testing will take place between 16 and 20 August. If you want to take part, please respond to Dr Hannah Cook Hannah.Cook@trade.gov.uk with a date and time (GMT) that would be convenient for you. The Growth Gateway team will send you the details to participate.
You will need to be able to participate in a Microsoft Teams video conference (it can be run in a browser tab), preferably from an Apple or Windows laptop screen,
Able to participate for a maximum of 1.5 hours
All sessions will be run in English.
During testing, they will share a link to a prototype for you to use. You’ll need to share your screen with the team and talk through how you’d use the service. Your feedback will be used to improve the usability and help shape the design of the service.
With your permission, they will record the session. The recording, and any other information they collect, will be confidential, anonymous, and used only for research and analysis purposes.
