Women Traders in the AfCFTA event at Expo 2020 Dubai

We are pleased to invite you to register for the Women Traders in the AfCFTA hybrid event at Expo 2020 Dubai on 16 October from 10.30-17.30 GST.

The hybrid event is a unique opportunity to bring together AfCFTA entrepreneurs, innovators and business leaders highlighting outstanding contributions, successes and challenges and showcasing creativity.

Providing a combination of panel discussions, key note speakers, roundtable and master classes, the one day hybrid event will highlight the major progress and successes made by the women entrepreneurs and the challenges they faced and share lessons learned. In addition, the event will provide the opportunity for participants to network and access new markets via the business networking and virtual exhibition platforms.

In February 2021, ICC, UPS, tralac and West Blue Consulting launched the Women Traders in the AfCFTA project to increase the participation of African businesses and women-led SMEs in the actualization of the AfCFTA, business scaling, export trade, inter regional trade and digitalization for trade facilitation.
